We have the Titan for pickleball , the options to create plays and shots are next level!!
Our daughter Sophie has taking a love for Pickleball and signed up for her first PPA tourney, her coach has created some great drills on the APP, so she can train them at anytime. The progression with her range of shots has really improved .. ( Mum & Dad love the titan too ;) ) We are so happy with it! And the battery lasts a long time!
Sometimes one takes a leap of faith with a large ticket item that cannot be trialled before committing. I'm so glad to say the TITAN has delivered on my expectations to be both a great drill partner offering variety close to game situations and a fabulous training tool for use while I coach. I'm now a believer and ambassador for a fantastic machine.
I've had the Titan One PB Machine for about two weeks, and while there's still a lot to learn about using it, I'm very impressed. The machine is easy to use, does what you ask it to do very consistently, and makes working on specific shots or scenarios a breeze. I've used it to work on my 3rd shots drops and drives, dinks, and returning back line drives while standing at the kitchen. So versatile and so easy to change the height, speed, feed rate, direction, spin, etc. in just a few clicks with the app. I love that the battery is removable so you don't have to bring the whole machine over to an outlet to charge it; just set of the battery charger somewhere and bring the battery to it when you need to.
There are a few areas that could be improved in that would bring it up to 5 stars:
- The machines takes a long, long time to start shooting out balls once you press start. This could be much, much shorter and it would make a huge improvement in my satisfaction score.
- The keyfob remote is too basic. The only thing you can do with it is start/stop the drill (or select from the existing drills, but that's so inefficient I never use it). Other remotes I've seen allow you to change all the parameters (speed, direction, etc.).
- The app needs better instructions. There's very little information about it, so most of the learning is through trial and error. For example: the Direction setting is a number from 1-19 or Random. There's nothing that tells you what those numbers mean (fyi 1 is all the way to one side, 19 is all the way to the other side, and 10 is in the middle). I shouldn't have to figure that out - there should be a manual that tells you what all the settings do and when to change them.
Overall it's a very solid machine that does what it's supposed to do quite well. It feels solid and I'm sure it will last a lifetime.
Could not be more pleased with this purchase. This ball machine is by far the best on the market, in my opinion. The app interface is seamless, intuitive, easy to learn and one of the best innovations I've seen in this space. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to improve your game.
